Real Wallet
The First Embedded Finance Platform Built for Real Estate Agents
Real Wallet is The Real Brokerage's embedded financial services platform, a business banking, tax planning, and working capital solution built directly into the reZEN transaction system and designed specifically around the financial reality of an independent real estate professional. It won the 2026 FinTech Breakthrough Business Lending Innovation Award, which recognizes the most transformative financial technology products globally. The award citation was specific: Real Wallet 'introduces a new standard for B2B payments and lending: fast, automated, customizable, and designed for the modern, independent entrepreneur in the competitive space of real estate.'
Understanding why Real Wallet exists requires understanding the problem it was built to solve. Real estate agents are independent contractors. Traditional banks treat them as irregular-income workers, which means large commission deposits often trigger holds, working capital loans are hard to qualify for, and the financial infrastructure available to a salaried employee, such as payroll banking, automatic tax withholding, employer matching, and group benefits, simply does not exist for agents who work on commission. Real Wallet was built to fill that gap by creating a banking platform that understands the commission-based income cycle the way a purpose-built system can, rather than the way a generic bank does.
Real Wallet Business Checking Account
The foundation of Real Wallet is the Business Checking Account, available to eligible Real agents in the United States. More than 7,000 Real agents were actively using Real Wallet Business Checking Accounts as of February 2026, with total deposits across all accounts reaching approximately $22.5 million. The account includes a Real-branded debit card, FDIC deposit insurance through Thread Bank (Member FDIC), and integration with the reZEN financial dashboard so that every deposit, every transaction, and every expense is visible in the same platform where the agent manages deals.
When a commission posts in reZEN after a transaction closes, the funds can flow directly into the Real Wallet Business Checking Account. The agent sees the deposit in the same dashboard where they track their cap status and deal pipeline. There are no holds for recognized commission deposits, and the account is structured as a business account so that deposits are categorized correctly for bookkeeping and tax purposes from the moment they arrive.
Real Wallet Tax Planning Account
The Tax Planning Business Checking Account is a separate account within Real Wallet designed to help agents manage their tax obligations as independent contractors. More than 1,400 Real agents were using Tax Planning accounts as of February 2026. The mechanics are straightforward: agents can set up an automatic transfer from their commission account to their tax account at a percentage they define, for example, automatically moving 25 to 30 percent of every commission deposit into the tax account so that quarterly estimated tax payments are covered when due. The account and the commission account are linked within the same Real Wallet dashboard, giving agents a clear picture of their net available funds after setting aside their tax obligation.
Real estate agents who do not separate their tax reserves from their operating funds frequently face painful surprises at tax time. The Tax Planning Account provides the structural discipline that financial advisors recommend, pay yourself last, not first, built into the daily banking workflow, rather than requiring the agent to maintain separate relationships with multiple banks.
QuickBooks Integration
Real Wallet integrates with QuickBooks, exporting financial data so that the agent's bookkeeping reflects Real Brokerage as the bank institution and categorizes commission deposits, debit card expenses, and tax transfers correctly. For agents who do their own bookkeeping, this integration means that reconciling accounts is a quick review rather than a manual data entry project. For agents who work with an accountant, it means that the financial data their accountant receives is already organized by the source rather than requiring translation.
Real Wallet Capital — Embedded Business Lending
Real Wallet Capital is the lending component of the Real Wallet platform, launched in October 2025 and initially available in 28 states and the District of Columbia, with national expansion ongoing. Capital provides Real agents with access to working capital based on their transaction history and pipeline performance, not based on traditional creditworthiness criteria that were designed for salaried employees. The credit assessment is dynamic, meaning it updates as the agent's business performance evolves, and the repayment structure is designed to align with commission timing rather than requiring fixed monthly payments regardless of whether a transaction has closed.
As of February 2026, more than 1,100 Real agents had accessed over $13.5 million in funding through Real Wallet Capital. The total outstanding credit balance was $8.0 million. For context on what this means for individual agents: an agent who has several transactions in the pipeline but needs to pay for professional photography, staging consultation, marketing materials, or carry a dry spell between closings can access working capital within the same business day they request it, with repayments structured to come from the commissions that close rather than from a fixed monthly schedule that ignores the reality of a commission-based income cycle.
Real Wallet Capital is offered by Real Broker Financial, LLC. Loans are subject to eligibility. Banking services are provided by Thread Bank, Member FDIC.
Real Wallet Rewards
Real Wallet usage generates Rewards that Real agents can apply to reduce brokerage fees. The specific mechanics of the Rewards program create a feedback loop between financial platform engagement and brokerage cost: agents who actively use Real Wallet accumulate Rewards that reduce their transaction fees and other brokerage costs. This alignment between financial platform usage and business cost creates an incentive structure that rewards agents for engaging with the full Real platform rather than using external banking tools.
Full-Year Financial Performance
Real Wallet generated $889,000 in revenue for the full year 2025, compared to $42,000 in 2024, a roughly 21-fold increase in a single year. The current annualized revenue run rate as of early 2026 is approximately $1.5 million, with 77 percent gross margins. Real Wallet is a small but rapidly growing business unit whose growth rate reflects genuine, expanding product-market fit among Real's agent base rather than a subsidized growth story.
