Real Signature

Proprietary E-Signature, Integrated Into Every Transaction

Real Signature is Real's proprietary electronic signature platform, built directly into the reZEN transaction management system. It handles the signing of every document in a Real transaction purchase agreements, disclosures, addenda, offer letters, listing agreements, and all compliance forms without requiring any external signature tool or separate subscription. The platform is included at no additional cost to every Real agent as part of the reZEN platform access, with no monthly fees, no per-envelope charges, and no separate login.

Electronic signature tools have become standard in real estate, but there is a meaningful difference between an e-signature product that is integrated natively into a transaction platform and one that exists as a separate application accessed through a separate login. For agents using standalone e-signature tools, sending a document for signature requires exiting the transaction management system, uploading the document to the signature platform, preparing the signing fields, sending the envelope, then returning to the transaction management system to track the deal's progress. When the signed document returns, it may need to be manually uploaded back to the transaction folder. Each step adds time, each transition creates the opportunity for a document to end up in the wrong place, and the overall workflow accumulates friction.

How Real Signature Works Inside reZEN

Real Signature eliminates this workflow entirely. When an agent is working on a transaction in reZEN and needs a document signed, the signature workflow begins inside the same interface. The agent selects the document from the transaction folder, prepares the signing fields, and sends it for signature without leaving reZEN. When the recipient signs, the completed document returns automatically to the transaction folder. The transaction timeline is updated automatically. The broker compliance review queue is notified automatically. No manual upload, no separate platform, no disconnected workflow.

This integration matters in Chester County's competitive market because speed is often the difference between winning and losing a transaction. When a buyer needs to sign a contract amendment within 24 hours of a counteroffer, the agent who can prepare and send a signature-ready document in two minutes while standing in a parking lot between showings has a material advantage over the agent who needs to return to their office, open a separate platform, and prepare the envelope manually. Real Signature enables the two-minute workflow.

Template Creation and Document Customization

Real Signature allows agents to create reusable templates for documents they prepare repeatedly, such as standard offer templates, disclosure packages, listing agreement structures, and buyer representation agreements. A template created once can be populated with transaction-specific data and sent for signature in the time it takes to fill in the relevant fields. For agents running a high volume of transactions, the template library becomes a significant time-saving asset. For new agents learning the documentation requirements of different transaction types, the template structure provides a checklist that reduces the risk of missing required documents.

Documents can also be customized for specific transactions, with signature and initial fields placed exactly where required by the specific form version used in Pennsylvania. The flexibility to create a template and customize it for a specific transaction handles both the efficiency need and the accuracy requirement in a single step.

Desktop and Mobile Access

Real Signature is accessible on both desktop and mobile through the reZEN platform. An agent at a listing appointment can prepare and send a listing agreement for signature from their phone while still at the seller's kitchen table. A buyer's agent can send an offer for signature immediately after a walkthrough, before the buyer has left the property. The immediacy of mobile-accessible e-signature changes the rhythm of real estate transactions in ways that clients experience as exceptional responsiveness, even though, from the agent's perspective, it is simply the normal operation of an integrated platform.

No Subscription Fees

One of the practical financial benefits of Real Signature's inclusion in the Real platform is the elimination of the separate e-signature subscription cost that agents at other brokerages pay as a business expense. DocuSign, the dominant standalone e-signature platform, costs agents several hundred dollars per year, depending on volume and plan. At Real, Real Signature is included. For an agent closing 20 transactions per year, the savings from this single line item meaningfully reduce the effective cost of Real's platform relative to comparable alternatives.
