The Seller's Pre-Listing Checklist

Deep Clean and Declutter

This is the highest-ROI activity available to any seller, and it is free. Start with every room:

  • Clear countertops of all small appliances, mail, and personal items

  • Declutter closets — buyers open every closet, and overstuffed closets make storage look inadequate

Curb Appeal

Half of a buyer's first impression is formed before they walk through the front door.
