Real Brokerage
NASDAQ: REAX — The Fastest-Growing Publicly Traded Real Estate Company in North America
The Real Brokerage Inc. is not a traditional real estate company. It is a technology platform company that happens to be in the real estate business, and the difference between those two descriptions is the entire story of why Real has grown faster than any other brokerage in North America over the past several years. Founded in 2014 by Tamir Poleg and traded on the NASDAQ under the ticker REAX, Real has built from scratch a proprietary technology infrastructure that enables it to operate a national brokerage without the overhead, franchise fees, office leases, and regional management layers that have defined the industry for a century. What that means in practice is that Real can offer agents dramatically better economics, invest the savings into technology, and still grow profitably while the brokerage industry around it consolidates and contracts.
The Numbers Behind the Name
The scale of Real's growth is not a story of a startup finding its footing. It is a story of structural outperformance in an industry that resists disruption. For the full year 2025, Real generated $2.0 billion in revenue, up 56 percent from 2024. The company closed 185,314 transactions totaling $75.3 billion in transaction volume, both figures up more than 50 percent year-over-year. Agent count reached 31,739 at year-end 2025 and surpassed 33,200 by early March 2026, representing 31 percent year-over-year growth. All of this happened in a housing market that, by the company's own description, was 'tepid.' Existing home sales across the industry grew by roughly 1 percent in the same period that Real grew transactions by 54 percent.
The broader industry recognition has followed the performance. The Financial Times named Real the number-one residential real estate brokerage on its Americas' Fastest Growing Companies 2026 list. Deloitte ranked Real number 100 on its 2025 Technology Fast 500, recognizing 939 percent revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. T3 Sixty's 2025 Mega 1000 ranked Real as the fifth-largest brokerage in the United States by sales volume. These are not marketing claims. They are verified, third-party data assessments of a company that has gone from a niche cloud brokerage to a top-five national operation in approximately a decade.

Why Real Exists
Tamir Poleg founded Real with the premise that the traditional brokerage model was structurally broken for agents. A typical franchise brokerage charges agents 30 to 40 percent splits, annual caps of $20,000 to $50,000, monthly desk fees, franchise royalties, and technology fees, all to pay for physical office infrastructure, regional franchise layers, and corporate overhead that agents largely do not use. Poleg's insight was that the physical office had become an unnecessary cost center, that technology could replace every brokerage service that required in-person presence, and that an agent who kept 85 percent of their commission instead of 60 percent would have a meaningfully different financial life. Real was built from day one around that premise, and every major decision since has been consistent with it.
The company describes itself as a 'real estate experience company working to make life's most complex transactions simpler.' That phrase captures something important about the direction Real is building: it is not just trying to be a cheaper brokerage. It is building an end-to-end platform that handles transaction management, AI-powered compliance, consumer home search, mortgage origination, title and closing, business banking, and agent wealth planning. The agents affiliated with Real of Pennsylvania | Exton operate with access to the full depth of that platform.
The Agent-First Model
Everything Real builds is built for agents first. The technology platform, reZEN, was built in-house by Real's 130-plus full-time developers specifically to serve agents' daily needs. The revenue share program, launched in 2019, pays agents a percentage of the company's own commission revenue for agents they recruit to the platform. The stock award program gives agents real equity in the company for hitting production milestones. The Real Wallet banking platform was built because agents have historically been treated by banks as irregular-income workers. Real built its own banking layer to give agents the financial tools that traditional banks have denied them.
The result is a brokerage where agents are not just customers of a service but stakeholders in the business. Ken Pozek, the founder of a 38-agent Orlando real estate team and one of Real's most visible advocates, was appointed to Real's Board of Directors in February 2026. That appointment of an active-producing agent at the board governance level is not symbolic. It reflects a genuine commitment to agent-led decision-making at every level of the company.
Financial Position
Real ended 2025 with $65.9 million in operating cash flow, $49.9 million in unrestricted cash and short-term investments, and no debt. For a company that grew revenue 56 percent in a single year, zero debt and strong operating cash flow are meaningful statements about the discipline of the underlying model. The company's gross margin in 2025 was 8.4 percent on $2 billion in revenue, which is thin relative to technology companies, but appropriate for a brokerage, and the ancillary revenue streams from Real Wallet, One Real Mortgage, and One Real Title all carry significantly higher margins that are expected to improve the blended gross margin profile as they scale.
